This position is based in Zaventem, Belgium, within Thermo Fisher Scientific's PPD® Laboratory Services team. You will work closely with industry thought-leaders and therapeutic experts to support our global operations.

As an Associate Logistics Coordinator, you'll play a crucial role in our global operations, ensuring the detailed distribution of kit production and order fulfillment. This is an outstanding opportunity to join a high-reaching team dedicated to delivering groundbreaking innovations in clinical trials and laboratory services.
A day in the Life:
- Report to Team Lead level or above
- Support the Management of PPD Kit Production (internal & external)
- Assist with the site list entry and maintenance of the global site list
- Update kit vendor on order level when/if needed
- Monitor daily kit vendor performance
- Coordinate with Materials Management
- Coordinate the review and required actions on custom reports
- Support resolution of Kit Vendor Quality Events, including incorrect documents, failure to release orders, and sending incorrect items
- Lead Kit Vendor SharePoint and maintain document repository
- Support daily coordination between kit vendor and GSS
- Handle all operational day-to-day activities in regard to supply order management
- Place re-supply orders and handle system comments
- Maintain communication channel to Project Management, keeping them informed of delayed orders or material outages
- Support information sharing within the GSS department and attend weekly kitting vendor operational meetings

Education
- High school diploma or equivalent experience is required.
Experience
- Minimum of two years general logistics experience with clinical trials required
- Or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Excellent client and phone service skills
- Knowledge of Good Clinical Practices and laboratory principles
- Intermediate level of computer literacy
- Accurate data entry skills
- Outstanding analytical, interpersonal, and time management skills
- Excellent verbal communications and customer service skills in English; additional languages are an advantage
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to support quality decision making
- Shown negotiation and problem resolution skills
- Maintains confidentiality of client protocols and study data
Physical Requirements / Work Environment
This role requires working in a multifaceted and fast-paced environment, with occasional lifting of materials up to 20 pounds. The position demands strict adherence to safety and quality standards, ensuring detailed execution of tasks.
