For our Portfolio Reporting Team in Bulgaria, part of the Project Accounting Center of Excellence, we are currently hiring:

(Assoc) Finance Analyst - Portfolio Reporting

The Portfolio Reporting Team's main purpose is to prepare accurate and timely reports for the management with key financial metrics, assisting the analysis and the decision-making process. Additionally, the team actively participates in various projects for enhancing current or developing new data analysis and data visualization tools, in support of the financial and business objectives. Responsibilities:

  • Collecting and transforming diverse financial data from multiple sources to produce:
  • consistent reporting package for assigned key customer portfolios on a monthly basis;
  • other regular and ad-hoc analysis, addressing internal needs of finance departments across the company;
  • recurrent (monthly/quarterly) and ad-hoc client-facing reporting.
  • Supporting the analysis of metrics drivers, trends, variations, and risks, through communication with data providers, finance analysts, portfolio managers, and other parties involved.
  • Ensuring data quality and integrity through development of automated calculations and validations.
  • Optimizing reports and presentations preparation process, addressing portfolio specifics or new requirements, utilizing new/updated data sources or knowledge and skillset acquired.
  • Exploring possible synergies across processes and standardization across different deliverables.
  • Participating in reporting/processes enhancement and/or development initiatives, utilizing diverse tools, such as PowerBI, VBA, SQL, SharePoint, et.
  • Senior Analyst Level only: Line management responsibilities of up to 2 direct reports, incl. recruitment, training and development of staff, goal setting, performance management, leading, mentoring, and coaching, assessing the team's workload and allocating work accordingly.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic/vocational qualification
  • Previous finance-related experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to at least 2 years) or equivalent combination of education, training, & experience

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Understanding of general financial concepts in accounting, billing and/or financial management
  • Strong analytical, quantitative and data validation skills, high attention to details
  • Problem-solving and optimization approach
  • Adaptability and flexibility towards changes
  • Good organizational and time management skills, ability to juggle multiple tasks while still delivering high quality results
  • Strong written and oral communications skills, interacting with various levels within the organization and departments in various locations around the globe
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs with an emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint for analysis and presentation of data
  • Experience with BI tools and programming languages (Power BI, SQL, TIBCO Spotfire or VBA is considered an advantage
