Job Overview

We are seeking an Application Scientist with exceptional work behaviors and a strong drive to succeed to join our team in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, South Korea. As an Application Scientist, you will play a crucial role in providing technical support, consultation, and education to our valued customers. You will collaborate with the commercial team to understand customer needs and design application plans that showcase the superior capabilities of our IC and TEA systems. Your expertise and knowledge in modern battery technologies will contribute to the success of our customers' research and development and manufacturing processes.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide pre-, during, and post-sales technical support, applications assistance, and consultation in response to customer inquiries, both internal and external.
  • Collaborate with the commercial team to design and prepare detailed application plans that align with customer goals.
  • Conduct and participate actively in IC product demonstrations and sample evaluations.
  • Participate in advanced method development for the battery industry.
  • Maintain and disseminate updated technical information for specific applications to the commercial team and customers.
  • Build and deliver engaging presentations in customer engagement activities such as seminars and conferences.
  • Independently address difficult problems by combining conceptual and analytical knowledge.

Job Requirements

  • A Master's degree or higher in Chemistry, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 7 years of technical knowledge and hands-on expertise in IC and TEA instruments, including sample preparation.
  • Experience with IC, IC-MS, IC-ICP/MS, and TEA workflows for industrial applications, especially battery research.
  • Extensive knowledge and expertise in modern battery technologies.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Outstanding teammate with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent in Korean, intermediate and above in English.
