Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly motivated intern for an AI Research position with a focus on Computer Vision and Generative AI. The selected candidate will join our team and contribute to the research and development of AI solutions for scanning electron microscopy. The primary objective of this role is to design and implement Computer Vision and Generative AI solutions to improve automation, image quality, and user experience of our systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members to research and develop AI-based solutions that enhance automation, image quality and easy of use of our microscopes through machine learning techniques.
• Explore and create innovative technologies using Generative AI, including Large Language Models and Large Vision Models.
• Conduct research in the field of Artificial Intelligence specifically for scanning electron microscopy.
• Assist in data acquisition, processing, and annotation.

• Minimum of one year of experience in AI, gained through academic projects, thesis work, or professional experience.
• Proficiency in Python and at least one machine learning framework (e.g. PyTorch).
• Experience with Large Language/Vision Models is a bonus.
