Position Summary:

Are you ready to advance your accounting career? Thermo Fisher Scientific is looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team as an Accounts Payable Representative I in Heredia, Costa Rica. General Purpose of the Position:

The "Accounts Payable Representative II" holds a significant position in the "Procure to Pay" department, as it aims to ensure the timely processing of invoices for payment to the company's suppliers, aligning with payment terms and company goals.

Main Responsibilities:

• Request the update of corporate suppliers' information in the respective systems when required by the team in charge of this process.

• Perform the analysis of invoices against the information of purchase orders, in order to determine if the invoices can be processed for the respective payment to suppliers.

• Ensure that the invoices for payments to suppliers are correctly entered into the established systems.

• Analyze the information of the invoices in order to resolve discrepancies that may arise, identifying the root cause to avoid incorrect application of payments and/or escalations.

• Attend to inquiries from suppliers and/or internal customers related to payments or invoice status.

• Develop technical knowledge of the different systems used in the company, to facilitate the processing of information.

• Maintain involvement and communication by phone, email, chat or any other means with internal and external customers involved in the processes.

• Find opportunities to improve the processes related to their department and propose effective solutions.

• Provide support and carry out any other request required by the company's needs.

Basic Requirements:

• Professional Technician or university high school student in Accounting or Administration.

• 1 - 2 years of experience in the area.

• Experience in Shared Service Centers.

• B1+ English Level.

• MS Office: Word, Power Point, Outlook - Excel basic.
