Job Description

You will be the Bioproduction Account Manager reporting into Benelux District Manager, working with a diverse team to bring solutions to our customers, growing the current business and finding new opportunities.
The successful candidate will be encouraged to apply sales, product, and territory knowledge to work independently in most situations.

  • Maintain and grow business within your customer base as well as having curiosity to seek new relationships in less well-known segment areas.
  • Influence the use and evaluation of Gibco cell culture media, single-use technologies, process liquids, pharma analytics, and purification products to biopharmaceutical and biotech organizations.
  • Manage key accounts with key influencers based in the region, some of which may span to other global geographies.
  • Build and execute a territory plan for business development in your region.
  • Use judgement and prioritization to bring in the appropriate resources to drive sales objectives.
  • Becomes comfortable with a hunter-selling environment and can work with other teams to ensure they deliver the vital administration to bring new proposals to customers.
  • Competes for all existing and develops new sales opportunities within the territory to meet or exceed targets.
  • Work closely with the technical and field applications teams to ensure the correct support allocation to key evaluations and projects in the region.
  • Manage sales funnel and ensure accurate administration of sales opportunities in SFDC.

What we are looking for

  • Academic degree (BSc, MSc) or equivalent experience in Life Sciences.
  • Knowledge of the bioproduction market is a plus
  • Ideally at least 1- 3 years with relevant experiences in sales and account management
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship development skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong trade and presentation skills
  • Ability to establish short & long-term business objectives and work independently
  • Fluent in English and Dutch and/or French.
