Job Description

As Account Manager Bioproduction, reporting into Benelux District Manager, you will collaborate with a diverse team to deliver innovative solutions to our customers, expanding existing business, and identifying new opportunities.
The successful candidate will be encouraged to apply sales, product, and territory knowledge to work independently in most situations.

  • Thrive in a hunter-selling environment, proactively seeking new sales opportunities and relationships in the market, particularly within mid-size biotech companies.
  • Influence the use and evaluation of Gibco cell culture media, single-use technologies, process liquids, pharma analytics, and purification products.
  • Manage accounts with key influencers based in the region, some of which may span to other global geographies.
  • Develop and execute a territory plan with the technical sales specialists for business development within your account portfolio.
  • Use judgement and prioritization to bring in the appropriate resources to drive sales objectives.
  • Becomes comfortable with a hunter-selling environment and can work with other teams to ensure they deliver the vital administration to bring new proposals to customers.
  • Work closely with the technical and field applications teams to ensure the correct support allocation to key evaluations and projects in the region.
  • Work closely with customer service, project and product management to ensure flawless execution of opportunities and projects.
  • Manage sales funnel and ensure accurate administration of sales opportunities in SFDC to meet KPIs.

What we are looking for

  • Academic degree (BSc, MSc) or equivalent experience in Life Sciences.
  • Knowledge of Bioprocessing is a plus
  • Ideally 1- 3 years with relevant experiences in sales and account management
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship development skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong trade and presentation skills
  • Ability to establish short & long-term business objectives and work independently
  • Fluent in French and English
