About the Internship
The Revenue Accounting intern will work directly with the manager and principal supervisors in one or both of our divisions' main sections. In the lease control section, the intern will learn and be responsible for the reconciliation and reporting of tenant rents, utilities and various other revenue streams at Port Authority facilities. In the Tolls and Fares section of the division the intern will learn and be responsible for reconciling and reporting Toll revenues collected through the interagency-EZPass system and PATH fares collected through the agency's new TAPP fare system.
The intern will learn a great deal and will be challenged to strengthen and apply skills in creating analysis using Excel. The selected candidate will also be trained in and use the PA's SAP Accounting and Flexible Real Estate modules. Use of reporting from external systems; EZPass, TAPP and Airport Parking systems will also be an additional learning experience.

Responsibilities
- Lease Control desk audits
- Toll volume analysis by vehicle class
- PATH patron purchasing analysis
- Month-to-Month and Year-To-Date variance analysis by facility and revenue category
- Contract administration - electronic filing, and uploading to SAP, Setup and maintenance of Revenue Accounting master contract data table.
Minimum Qualifications
- Enrollment at a college/university through Summer 2025 and into the Fall 2025 semester
- Major in Accounting, Business Administration, or Finance or a related field.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience using Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.)
Internship Details
- The start date will be Thursday, May 29, 2025
- The internship will last approximately 12 weeks, ending on Friday, August 22, 2025
- This is a full-time internship (5 days per week at 7.25 hours per day)
- The format is expected to be hybrid

Compensation & Benefits
- The hourly rate range is $17.63 to $27.21 (the exact rate will be determined by internship type and rising school year)
