About the Internship:
The Landside Operations Division at JFK Airport manages various Transportation and Customer Services related contractors (parking, bussing, taxi dispatch, customer service reps, homeless outreach, snow, construction, etc.). The responsibility encompasses all aspects of the airport outside of the airfield. JFK is in the midst of an 18-billion-dollar redevelopment project that will transform the airport over the next ten years. This construction puts added pressure on Landside Operations to preserve customer experience as we navigate an uncertain and ever-changing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop presentation materials
- Organize and lead meetings
- Regularly communicate with stakeholders to seek input and communicate progress
- Develop analyses and tracking systems
- Manage and deliver at least one initiative regarding a Landside contractor

- The project will require a scope document, cost-benefit analysis, and a summary document when the initiative is completed.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Enrollment at a college/university through Summer 2025 and into the Fall 2025 semester
Desired Skills:
- Interest in aviation and/or transportation
- Experience with contract management, statistical analysis and interpretation, and project management
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Microsoft Office
Internship Details
- The start date will be Thursday, May 29, 2025
- The internship will last approximately 12 weeks, ending on Friday, August 22, 2025
- This is a full-time internship (5 days per week at 7.25 hours per day)
- The format is expected to be enter hyrbid

Compensation & Benefits
- The hourly rate range is $17.63 to $29.57 (the exact rate will be determined by internship type and rising school year)
