About the Internship:
As a Graphic Design intern, you will have the opportunity to apply your design skills in a real-world setting, contributing to projects that have a tangible impact on communities in New York and New Jersey and gain project management experience. You will work closely with our Studio Creative Services Graphic Designers, marketing, and communication teams on various design projects, from branding to digital media, helping to convey our message and mission effectively.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the creation and design of marketing materials, including flyers, brochures, social media graphics, posters, and presentations.
- Collaborate with PA Studio management and team members to conceptualize and develop visual content for internal and external communications.
- Help maintain the integrity of our brand by following established design guidelines.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to come up with innovative ideas for marketing campaigns.
- Support the design team in other projects as needed.

Minimum Qualifications
- Enrollment at a college/university through Summer 2025 and into the Fall 2025 semester
- Major in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
Desired Qualifications
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other graphic design software.
- Premiere and After Effects are a plus.
- Familiarity with project management software like Wrike, Microsoft Teams, and Outlook, or the willingness to learn.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating creativity, design, and production skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, meet tight deadlines, and identify priority tasks and projects.
- A keen eye for aesthetics and details.
- Knowledge of Print Production.
- Basic motion graphics and animation skills or willingness to learn.
- Executive Functioning and Project Management skills.
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud libraries for asset management.
Internship Details:
- The start date will be Thursday, May 29, 2025
- The internship will last 12 weeks, ending on Friday, August 22, 2025
- This is a full-time internship (generally 5 days per week at 7.25 hours of work per day plus a 45-minute break)
- The format is expected to be hybrid

Compensation & Benefits
- The hourly rate range is $17.63 to $29.57 (the exact rate will be determined by internship type and rising school year)
