Job Description

Social Impact Show Runner will assist the Social Impact Production Manager with logistics, planning, and day of executions of Social Impact programs. Work with the Social Impact staff to center anti-racist practices in project coordination and in the approach to key project tasks relating to the planning and execution of all Social Impact activations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Production Manager with advance of Social Impact Activations
  • Greet artists, show them backstage, bathrooms, water, etc.
  • Artist Liaison between Artist and KC staff (production, ushers, etc.)
  • Set-up merchandise tables for artists (getting sign, tablecloth, etc.)
  • Stage Management duties including ensuring production schedule is followed
  • Normalize area following the performance
  • Other duties as assigned.

Key Qualifications

  • One year of administrative experience in a performing arts venue. Experience with artist services and contracts.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Must be able to execute fast paced and a large volume work independently.

Additional Information

  • Occasional lifting and moving of office supplies and artist hospitality needs weighing as much as 40lbs. Must be able to work occasional nights and weekends and work beyond 40 hours/week as needed. Will participate in coverage of Millennium Stage shows as needed.
  • The noise level in the work environment is normal, but volume can be loud based on the performance in progress.
