Senior Paid Search Analyst
This role will have a Hybrid work arrangement, with the expectation of working in the Hartford, CT office 3 days a week (Tuesday through Thursday).
Position Overview
This role will be responsible for supporting the execution of paid search and display marketing in Personal Lines, to drive new business at an acceptable return on investment. In partnership with team members across marketing and analytics, responsibilities include the creation, optimization, and monitoring of all paid search and display campaigns. Additionally, the Marketing Operations Specialist will manage the lead aggregator and lead monetization channels, responsible for campaign optimization, portfolio management, performance monitoring, vendor relationships, process improvement, and creative and testing strategy. The ideal candidate has a strong background in data analysis as well as expertise in digital campaign execution. Experience with Google Ads Editor and Microsoft Advertising Editor is preferred.

Responsibilities:
- Support the paid search marketing and display programs by managing campaign implementations, optimizations, and quality assurance
- Own the monitoring of results and analysis, working with the search and analytics team to create tools and reports necessary to identify trends and areas of opportunity
- Partner with the Analytics team to optimize search and display campaigns as well as develop a healthy pipeline of testing opportunities that will drive improved results
- Lead the lead aggregator and lead monetization programs by managing campaign optimizations, testing strategy and monitoring performance
- Own the monitoring of results, working with the analytics team and vendors to identify trends and areas of opportunity, as well as produce accurate forecasting
- Identify and implement innovative strategies that lead to program enhancements to increase growth potential and/or reduce acquisition costs
- Create and present materials that clearly articulate business results, outcomes, or strategy for a variety of audiences
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required. Advanced degree a plus
- Minimum of 3 years in marketing role
- Experience with Google Ads Editor and Microsoft Advertising Editor preferred
- Experience developing strategy and critical thinking- diagnosis, guiding policy and coherent action - and executing against a plan
- Experience A/B and multivariate testing hypotheses to support recommendations/optimizations
- Strong analytical competency and proficiency with tools such as Excel
- Highly organized and detail oriented; energetic self-starter who takes initiative and can manage internal/external resources effectively
- Ability to work at a fast pace and effectively navigate and partner with other parts of Personal Insurance organization
- Track record of success working in a deadline-driven environment
Compensation
The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition. The annualized base pay range for this role is:
$82,000 - $123,000
