Our Group Benefits department is seeking a highly skilled Regional Account Executive II.

The Hartford's Group Benefits segment is a market leader in life and disability insurance and an expanding suite of voluntary products and services, providing businesses with the employee benefits solutions necessary to attract and retain top talent. Role Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and develop strategic business relationships with key producers in New York / New Jersey territory.
  • Analyze and evaluate market trends and recommend future improvements based upon findings.
  • Strong network/relationships with key producer's Extensive travel (50%-70%) required in designated territory.
  • Work effectively with Internal and External clients.
  • Responsible for the Sales and Conservation within assigned territory of all Group Life and Disability business in support of the respective Group Sales Office, and Hartford Life's business goals.
  • Emphasis on Employer Groups of less than 5000 lives.
  • Accountable for Regional Account (50 to 4,999) Sales, Profitability and Persistency Align to distribution partners that concentrate primarily on Regional Account Business.
  • Focus will be on sales and customer solutions in Regional Account space.
  • Required to build actionable sales plans that align with Group Benefits financial objectives for growth, retention and profit.
  • Utilize data tools to monitor plan results, communicate, and implement actions.
  • Maintains sales administration responsibilities through timely reporting, expense management etc.
  • Extensive travel (50-70%) required in assigned territory.

This role has a fixed base salary of $50,000 with a highly lucrative bonus plan

Must reside in New York and or New Jersey to be considered

This role can have a Hybrid or Remote work arrangement, with the expectation of working 3 days a week (Tuesday through Thursday) Candidates who do not live near an office will have a remote work arrangement, with the expectation of coming into an office as business needs arise.

As a condition of your employment, you must obtain and maintain the Group Life & Health license.

Compensation

The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition. The annualized base pay range for this role is:

$50,000 - $50,000
