This role will be based in London, UK and you are required to have the necessary right to work details prior to application.

Contribute to and develop integrated marketing campaigns to promote and support International's specialty product and service solutions to external audiences. Drive brand awareness and visibility across the market and outside of the US. Reporting directly to the Head of Distribution, Global Specialty, International with a matrix reporting line to Director of Global Specialty Marketing & Communications in the US.

Responsibilities:

  • Create awareness of and develop The Hartford International brand in all regions
  • Partner with business subject matter experts to create compelling marketing messaging and value propositions
  • Write and edit content for a variety of marketing channels, including but not limited to flyers, emails, web content, social media messages, announcements, presentation materials, sales tools, and thought leadership articles
  • Assist with internal communications as and when required, such as Town Halls, leadership announcements
  • Liaise with in-house creative services, social media and media teams
  • Develop and implement a marketing strategy to support sales efforts across all business units
  • Support London, Latin America and Asia regions/teams
  • Contribute to marketing plans, advertising, direct marketing and campaigns
  • Identify and measure marketing outcomes to increase efficiency of marketing activities for the International business
  • Monitor and report on competitor activity
  • Own Net Promoter Score (NPS) study in the market, partnering with in-house research team
  • Oversee and manage the marketing budget
  • Communicate with target audiences to showcase The Hartford's brand
  • Write and proofread marketing copy for marketing campaigns
  • Strategize on thought leadership articles with in-house writers
  • Support distribution team with high priority events that aim at showcasing The Hartford brand
  • Develop relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external, at all levels
  • Work with Director of Global Specialty Marketing & Communications in the US to bring consistent messaging and strategy for marketing initiatives

Procedures:

  • Ensure that all relevant policies and procedures are adhered to.
  • Adhere to any common standards set across the company and ensures that policies and procedures are adequately documented.
  • Work in partnership with US Global Specialty marketing/communications team
  • Work in partnership with Enterprise Marketing/Communication in-house service teams such as: social media, content, website, media.

  • 5+ years marketing or communication experience
  • Understanding of international insurance industry desirable
