The successful PMC PI Manager candidate will oversee a team of AGAs, GAs and possibly NGAs who are charged with the reserving, investigation, valuation, disposition and settlement of large Personal Insurance property claims in a manner consistent with corporate claim settlement policies and procedures and statutory, regulatory and ethics requirements throughout the United States as appropriate. The individual in this position will work to achieve team wide fair, equitable and timely claim dispositions and properly assess the indemnity and expense exposure of the team's assigned claims. They will report to a Property Major Case Director and operate in a team environment that will develop and share business knowledge and claim handling expertise with PMC team members and business partners. This position will also manage and participate in projects internal and external to PMC.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Must have 5+ years of experience as a full file General and/or National General Adjuster of complex property losses
Prior leadership and/or mentoring is preferred
• Strong functional knowledge of commercial/residential claims and be able to appropriately interpret and apply insurance coverage
• College degree or equivalent experience
• Consistent high level of performance and achievement over career span
• Cost estimation preferably using Xactimate and computer competencies required.
• Ability to handle Business Income Losses
• Good working knowledge of regional jurisdictional issues
• Disciplined time management and organizational skills and ability to function in a self-reliant manner
• Availability for nationwide catastrophe operations as necessary
• Must have MS Office knowledge (i.e. Excel)
This role can have a hybrid or remote work arrangement. Candidates who live near one of our office locations (Hartford, CT, San Antonio, TX, Lake Mary, FL, Phoenix, AZ, Naperville, IL) will have the expectation of working in an office 3 days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday.) Candidates who do not live near an office will have a remote work arrangement, with the expectation of coming into an office as business needs arise.
Compensation
The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition. The annualized base pay range for this role is:
$133,440 - $200,160
