As a Licensed Personal Lines Auto and Home Agent you will be responsible for providing comprehensive insurance solutions, evaluating risk and confidently asking for the sale while overcoming objections.

COMPENSATION

  • The pay for this position will be $24.00 per hour.


  • We are a metric driven, pay-for-performance, award-winning sales organization. There is potential to earn lucrative rewards, including monthly, quarterly, and annual pay-outs along with sales incentives and contests. Average monthly earnings are $500+, with top monthly earners exceeding $2000.


  • Opportunity for up to 15% shift differential for weekend hours and Spanish-English Bilingual skillset, post certification.

SCHEDULE

Start Date: March 3, 2025

Training Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:30 am - 6:00 pm Eastern, for the 1st 9 weeks of employment. Time off during training is not accommodated.

Post Training:

This position offers the opportunity to be 100% remote. You will have a hybrid work arrangement, if you reside within a commutable distance to either Hartford, CT or San Antonio, TX; three days a week (Tuesday - Thursday).

Remote-Work from Home Hours

  • Monday - Friday 11:30 am - 8:00 pm local time & every other Saturday 9:30 am - 6:00 pm Eastern

Hybrid Hours

  • Monday - Friday 9:30 am - 6:00 pm local time (hybrid-in office: T, W, Th) & every other Saturday9:30 am - 6:00 pm Eastern

Qualifications:

  • Active license to sell auto and home insurance in your state of residence required.
  • You must obtain and maintain all state licenses and terminate all prior carrier relationships as applicable.
  • 2 + years proven track record in sales and comfort with negotiating and overcoming objections.
  • Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced environment including up to 20-25 inbound calls per day
  • This is a customer-facing role which requires your full attention with our customers. A distraction free environment is required.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborative as part of a team.
  • Internet: High speed broadband cable internet service with minimum upload/download speeds of 100MB download/10MB upload and your Internet provider supplied device is to be hard-wired to the Hartford issued router and/or computer. Compensation

The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition. The annualized base pay range for this role is:

$42,720 - $64,080

The posted salary range reflects our ability to hire at different position titles and levels depending on background and experience.
