The Hartford's Early Immersion Program is ideal for high achieving college sophomores interested in exploring internships and career opportunities in the insurance industry. This event will take place the third week of June 2025.

Participation Benefits Include:

  • Professional development workshops, networking activities, and mini case competition experience
  • Valuable resume building opportunities
  • Numerous opportunities to meet and network with business professionals and early career professionals including other students and company interns
  • Select students who participate in the program will be invited to interview for summer internship opportunities before positions become available

Requirements:

  • Sophomore level class standing (2027 graduation date)
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (out of 4.0 scale or equivalent)
  • Demonstrated leadership experience
  • Record of high achievement, self-motivation, ability to multi-task and a strong work ethic
  • Availability to commit to three consecutive dates in June
  • Interest in any of the following career fields: Actuarial Science, Claims, Finance, Investment Management, Marketing, Operations, Technology & Data, Risk Management, Underwriting or other insurance related careers

*Please note in order to participate you will be required to attend the event in-person for all three days in our Hartford, CT office. Dates are subject to change.

Compensation

The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition. The annualized base pay range for this role is:
