Registered Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse - 3rd Shift

Job Description

Professional Work in providing care for inmates at the Hampshire Sheriff's Office Jail and House of Correction. Performs responsible and varied duties requiring knowledge of specialized nursing techniques and HOC policies and procedures; including Medication Assisted Treatment (for substance abuse, including opioid dependency). Performs all duties of an RN/LPN, including but not limited to health appraisals, triage, sick call & med pass. All other duties, tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing along with current licensure as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse by the Massachusetts State Board of Nursing. 2 years of nursing required; Medication Assisted Treatment experience is highly preferred. Successful completion of pre-employment background checks, including background investigation and drug/health screenings is required.
