Job Description

Position Summary

MassDOT's Office of Transportation Planning seeks an intern/co-op for its Administrative section, reporting to OTP's Manager of Administration. The Administrative co-op will support the development of streamlined administrative processes for invoicing, contracts, and budgeting under the guidance of the Manager of Administration. The co-op will collaborate across teams to optimize and enhance OTP's administrative capacities, working in close partnership with the GIS Business Intelligence Analyst and the GIS/Research Team Project Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Developing enhancements to OTP's Wrike Invoicing and Contracts platform.
  • Creating Wrike job guides for OTP project managers.
  • Development of quarterly cashflow reports in excel.
  • Transition of the State Planning and Research (SPR) Work Program online platform from Salesforce to Wrike.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Intermediate to advanced excel skills.
  • Familiarity with Wrike, Salesforce or other similar project management databases/platforms.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Customer service skills.
  • Interest in public administration and business development.
