Overview:
This role will manage and enhance the University's identity and access management (IAM) systems to ensure secure, seamless access to digital resources for students, faculty and staff. Reporting to the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), this role will collaborate closely with members of the Information Security Office (ISO) team to align IAM processes with broader security and risk management goals.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in identity and access management, IT security or a related area
- Strong knowledge of IAM technologies (e.g. HelloID, Active Directory, Azure AD, LDAP)
- Proficiency in implementing and managing SSO, MFA and RBAC solutions.
- Familiarity with IAM tools
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in higher education or a small organizational setting
- Certifications such as Certified Identity and Access Manager (CIAM) or similar
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as FERPA, HIPAA or GDPR
- Scripting experience (e.g., PowerShell, KQL) for process automation
Working Conditions:
This is a hybrid position in Salem, MA with some on-campus, in-person responsibilities.
Office activities are performed in an environmentally controlled office setting subject to extended periods of sitting, keyboarding and interaction with computer equipment; occasional bending, reaching, lifting, pushing and pulling up to 5-10 pounds.
