Job Description

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for performing a full range of tasks in the design and development of multimedia graphic design marketing materials (digital, print, and video). Working with Marketing staff, this position will be responsible for design projects such as website graphics, sales collateral, billboards, social media graphics, and in-store point of sale materials, instructional and promotional videos, and animation videos for YouTube and social media and other digital platforms.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Create digital assets that maintain brand integrity and elevate the brand internally and externally.
  • Manage creative projects from concept through execution and align materials with the corporate brand and messaging.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure that processes, projects, and interactions with stakeholders are consistently engaging and enlightening.
  • Create, update, and design email templates for marketing and transactional emails.
  • Work with the social media team to ensure social graphics are engaging.
  • Participate in and assist with other phases of marketing efforts as needed.
  • Performs other related duties as required.
  • Maintain Lottery look and feel logo and image library.
  • Work closely with colleagues in marketing and across the organization and should be able to lead a review process efficiently and effectively.
  • Ability to travel throughout MA.
  • Represent the Lottery at special events (may require working some weeknights and weekends.
  • Attend professional development seminars and/or trainings to stay current with Digital Graphic techniques.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree, equivalent related experience, or Master's degree.
  • Must be proficient in Adobe's Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
  • Two (2) years of experience designing for both print and digital assets such as retail posters, website graphics, and e-mail content.
  • Be a creative and innovative thinker, results-oriented and comfortable working within a collaborative environment.
  • Must be a self-starter able to identify opportunities for improving processes and deliverables.
  • Must have excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Must have high attention to detail, be able to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously, and work well within a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of mobile application production UI/UX.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proficient in Adobe Experience Manager
  • Knowledge of Adobe after Effects & Premiere Pro (Animation)
  • The ability to code email templates is desired as is experience working within a web content management system (CMS), and knowledge of Cascading Style Sheets (CSS).
  • Understanding of HTML5
  • Experience with PowerPoint also is desirable.
  • Knowledge of prmt processes, four color, and firey digital printing.
