Overview
Governor Maura T. Healey and Lieutenant Governor Kim Driscoll are seeking a Creative Strategist to shape the visual identity of the Governor's Office. The ideal candidate for this role has a creative eye and graphic design experience, an interest in politics and an understanding of what works visually for both digital and physical media. Key responsibilities include developing and managing brand assets, the creation of digital and printed media for the Governor's Office and working with Cabinet offices on visual consistency and brand alignment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conceptualize and design graphic content for the Governor and Lieutenant Governor's social media platforms.
- Design and facilitate the production of digital and printed collateral for events and campaigns, including flyers, signage and branded merchandise.
- Develop and maintain brand assets, working closely with other members of the digital team to ensure consistency across graphic and video content and printed media.
- Aid departments within the Governor's Office with design needs, including requests for promotional flyers, social media graphics, signage, etc.
- Collaborate with Cabinet communications teams to assist with the creation of digital and printed media.

Qualifications
Requirements
- Expertise in the Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
- Experience with design work across digital and print media.
- Experience with Adobe Express, Canva, or other simplified design tools.
- A ttention to detail and a sharp eye for visual consistency and brand alignment.
- Strong storytelling, visual communication and written communication skills.
