This is a contract position funded through December 30, 2025. The assistant will work a hybrid schedule, with a mix of remote and in-office work at the CT offices in Boston, with other possible meetings in the Boston area or around the state as needed.

Children's Trust is seeking a creative, organized Program Assistant to provide short term support for upcoming marketing and communications projects and external agency events.
The mission of Children's Trust is to partner with organizations and communities to drive systemic change that addresses the root causes of child abuse and neglect. We provide and fund high-quality programs and services, deliver training and technical assistance to the family support workforce, and advocate for statewide policy decisions that build resilient families, enabling children to grow up safe and thrive. Children's Trust Massachusetts has an annual budget of approximately $26M from Federal and State funding and an additional average annual raise of $850K from our 501c3.
The Children's Trust Marketing/Communications/Events unit is seeking a time limited, contracted employee to perform the following duties/essential duties:
1. Provide light project management for the Marketing & Events Team by creating project dashboards in Asana to keep the team aligned on projects, timelines and budget and keep updated by consistently taking notes, entering data, tracking expenses, scheduling meetings, etc.
2. Monitor engagement, track metrics for marketing and event efforts, including website analytics, email marketing, social media, and registrations and compile data into detailed reports for team review
3. Assist in the logistical coordination and smooth operations of agency events including onsite support during events, outreach, vendor management, venue setup, volunteer management, material preparation and registration.
4. Maintain databases/lists and assist with editing, drafting and publishing communications via
multiple platforms to communicate key messages, promote and engage with audience.
5. Perform related duties as required
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Proficiency in office software (Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace).
2. Familiarity with marketing tools and project management software such as Asana, Canva, Mailchimp, Hootsuite, Google Analytics, etc.
3. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a knack for tracking and prioritizing tasks effectively.
4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Travel may be required for this position.
