Boeing Talent Acquisition is currently looking for two Software Application Developers Full Stack (Virtual) to join their team in Seattle, WA or Virtual. These positions will focus on supporting the Boeing Global Services (BGS) business organization.

A successful candidate will be a self-starter who understands the importance of collaboration as these positions will focus on leading software application development teams to build highly available solutions for commercial customers and working with both architecture and business leaders to help design, plan and execute on organizational goals.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Leads, develops, and motivates teams of software application developers in the design and delivery of the best solutions to meet program partners and customers objectives
  • Contributes to the evolution of the architecture and defines architectures within a domain
  • Defines new program integration efforts/plans
  • Exercises critical thinking and innovative problem solving
  • Develops and maintains strategic partnerships with program management, product management, portfolio architecture, technical management, portfolio engineers and peers
  • Provides direction and assists in the resolution of critical technical issues and challenges encountered by the teams
  • Effectively analyzes and triages software issues and defects and communicates impacts with stakeholders
  • Provides mentoring to software application developers
  • Demonstrates the Seek, Speak and Listen attributes

This position has been identified as a virtual opportunity and candidates do not have to live in Seattle WA.

BasicQualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • 8+ years as a full stack developer
    • Programming languages (Java preferred)
    • Database (SQL and No-SQL)
    • DevOps (CI/CD)
    • Front-end/UI (Angular preferred)
    • Operating Systems (Linux based preferred)
  • 5+ years developing data engineering solutions (experience with ETL and Queues preferred)
  • 5+ years development on cloud platforms (e.g. Azure, AWS, GPC)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Experience with aviation solutions (airplane maintenance preferred)
  • Experience with ATA industry standards
  • Experience with MRP integration
  • Bachelor's degree or higher

Typical Education & Experience:

Technical bachelor's degree and typically 14 or more years' related work experience or a Master's degree with typically 12 or more years' or a PhD degree with typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Relocation:

This position does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Summary pay range: $147,050.00 - $198,950.00
