The Boeing Global Services Commercial Modification, Engineering, and Specialty Products organization is seeking a highly motivated Product Line Expansion project manager who will be responsible for business growth and new product development across the Cabin, Modifications, Engineering Services, Conversion, and Leasing Portfolios. As the Product Line Expansion project manager, you will help to grow and reshape existing businesses, processes and services for Boeing Global Services - developing, maturing, and supporting the delivery of innovative products and services that delight our customers.

In this role you will work closely with business development and marketing, business leaders, and numerous other functional partners to project manage new offerings that will grow the portfolio and to deliver bottom-line results to the business and high-value solutions to our customers. Think of this as pipeline product development, as a project manager bringing new exciting ideas to market.

This is a hybrid position that allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Grow portfolios across business lines; bring new innovative products to market
  • Develop new products and offerings and drive to successful transition from Sales & Marketing to point of market execution
  • Build business model / business case / risk mitigation plans / launch criteria / executive level presentations
  • Drive project through agile and flexible gated process and approvals
  • Identify and track risks, opportunities, and clear action plans

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • 3+ years leading/managing cross-functional programs or projects
  • 3+ years of experience with business cases, product development, and or requirements analysis
  • 3+ Preparing and presenting to executives, senior leadership and external customers

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • 3+ years of experience in airplane modification projects, development projects, or new products and services
  • Clear Communicator - Strong verbal/written communication and data presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams

Typical Education/ Experience:

Technical bachelor's degree and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or a Master's degree with typically 3 or more years' or a PhD degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A technical degree is defined as any four year degree, or greater, in a mathematic, scientific or information technology field of study

Relocation:

This position is located in a location that does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
