We are seeking a Facilities Engineering Manager (Level K) to join our Facilities and Asset Management Engineering and Technology organization. You will be located in Renton, Washington.

You will lead a team of facilities plant engineers composed of architects, civil/structural, mechanical, electrical, and technical designers in support of building and infrastructure maintenance activities, construction projects, asset condition assessments, and Long Range Business Planning development. This role will involve strategic collaboration with other facilities groups, Boeing Business Partners, and external suppliers, contractors, and vendors.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Manages employees performing activities related to infrastructure planning, design, analysis, improvement of construction projects and maintenance operations
  • Develops and completes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals
  • Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, collaborators, peers, partners and employees
  • Provides guidance and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
  • Participates in equipment make/buy decisions; participates in source selection and provides technical oversight of suppliers
  • Leads, develops and motivates employees

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • 3+ years of experience leading technical teams and/or initiatives
  • 1+ year of experience with team building, developing and motivating employees
  • 1+ year of experience coordinating across engineering disciplines

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Degree in Engineering or technical discipline
  • 3+ years of experience with technical project management
  • 3+ years of experience in large construction projects, facilities management and/or large project management
  • 3+ years of experience working in/supporting a manufacturing environment
  • 3+ years of experience executing strategies that drive employee engagement and inclusion
  • 1+ year of experience using Maximo or other Computerized Maintenance Software Systems
  • Experience with Revit or comparable BIM software, utilizing basic tools such as: work sets, schedules, views, clash detection and family creation

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $124,100 - $167,900.
