Reports to: Mgr Security Operations
I. Position Description
Primary Duties and Responsibilities (details of the basic job functions):
Provides senior level support to security administration. Closely works with the team to develop and maintain a comprehensive engineering program, including policies, processes and standards for the administration, and engineering of security administration. Duties may include:
- Data Gathering
- Identify necessary information for Engineering
- Access systems to gather necessary data including Saviynt, Active Directory, etc
- Interview Lines of Business (LOB) to identify requirements

- Assist with migrating systems
- Responsible for automating tasks and processes
- Participates in engineering of platform changes that impact architecture and connectivity
- Reduce complexity and improve reliability through recommendations/process improvements
- Respond to system outage escalations during normal business hours as needed
- Provide Level 3/4 support/guidance as needed
- Responsible for translating new features and functions into usable work instructions
- Provide technical oversight of the Capgemini resources as a SME
- Responsible for the transition of system accountability from engineering to operations.

II. Required Qualifications (these are the minimum requirements to qualify)
Education (include minimum education and any licensing/certifications):
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Data/Identity Security Field.
Experience:
- 7+ Years engineering, implementation and support experience.
- 3+ Years implementing and supporting Microsoft Active Directory, Operating Systems & Exchange, IBM Mainframe Security, Saviynt
- Assisting and training team members in the use of security tools and troubleshooting.
- Developing and maintaining documentation for systems and procedures.
- Securing an environment with Regulatory requirements such as PCI, FFIEC, or Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act
- Adhering to change control procedures and windows.
- Providing detailed plans for change windows.
- Programming/scripting tools and testing
Knowledge and Skills:
- Knowledge of Security concepts and ability to apply them to business processes (concept of least privilege, concept of locking down, integration/production environments), etc.
- Network security technologies (e.g. SIEM, DLP, Firewalls, IDS, IPS, application proxies)
- System development life cycle
- Analyzing business problems and developing recommendations and engineering solutions for management and/or senior staff review
- Supporting Troubleshooting and resolving problems when required by the operations team
- Regulatory and compliance requirements (such as PCI, FFIEC, GLBA)
- Organization's security policies, standards and controls
- Skillset: (What is the skillset needed to perform the functions of the job?)
- Strong team-oriented interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interface with a broad range of internal/external contacts and roles, including end users, vendors and IT-business personnel.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work well under stress in emergencies, with the flexibility to handle multiple high-pressure situations simultaneously.
- Excellent presentation, persuasion, and writing skills to include procedure and technical material, report/proposal preparation and oral presentation.
- Work with information security leadership to guide strategies and plans to enforce security requirements and address identified risks
III. Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with security in the cloud (AWS, Azure, or Google)
- Experience engineering solutions with Checkpoint's identity awareness.
- Experience with large scale Identity and Access Management concepts and implementations
- Experience with Saviynt Identity and Access Management solution
- Experience with BlockID and other MFA solutions

FLEX WORK IN WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position is currently able to work remotely from a home office location for day-to-day operations unless occasional travel for meetings, collaborative activities, or team building activities is specified by leadership. This is subject to change based on amendments and/or modifications to the ACG Flex Work policy.
