Position Description
Primary Duties and Responsibilities (details of the basic job functions):
Provide consultative services, support and assistance with the recruitment and screening of Entrepreneurial Agent candidates across the company. Participate in the development of recruiting strategies, utilizing various screening techniques to including the development of candidate profiles, identification of comprehensive screening criteria, etc. Conduct preliminary interviews, administer tests, conduct background checks and validate capital to ensure appropriate financing to start business. Assist management in the development of a corporate appointment plan and develop and manages the EA recruitment budget. Develop selection instruments to assist in the hiring process and identify selection objectives, time lines and evaluate alternatives to present to management. Work to build a qualified candidate pool that supports corporate objectives. Coordinate pre-employment activities to include candidate reference and background checks in accordance with EEO guidelines, federal and state laws/regulations and established company EA guidelines.

Work with various departments (e.g. Legal, Human Resources, Underwriting, Corporate Education, etc.) to complete the hiring process and integrates hiring activities and resources with other company initiatives. Assist sales force in resolving problems relative to recruitment needs and provides status reports to management regarding hiring efforts.
Compensation: $80,808.00 - $129,292.80 annually plus the opportunity for incentives.

Required Qualifications (these are the minimum requirements to qualify)
This role will be primarily work-from-home within a state in the ACG footprint
Education (include minimum education and any licensing/certifications):
- High School diploma or equivalent
Experience:
- Working in an insurance sales operations/agency environment
- Analyzing and defining resource and skill requirements for the purpose of screening, recruiting and selecting successful candidates
- Recruitment (Linkedin, Monster, etc.) and selection tools
- Development and implementation of sales strategies and promotional programs
- Recruitment/development including (available agency resources, training on insurance products, etc) of insurance agents
- Organization, planning and time management
- Analysis and problem solving
- Coordination and control of major projects
- Providing work direction and guidance to others
Knowledge and Skills:
Knowledge of:
- Insurance products and services
- Marketing principles and their applications
- Effective recruitment and selection techniques including utilization of business, agency and academic resources
- Developing and monitoring operating budgets
- Organization and planning
- Analyzing and summarizing data
- The full recruitment cycle
Ability to:
- Prepare and conduct presentations for all levels of management
- Communicate effectively with EA candidates to share complex information including business start-up responsibilities, capital investment, etc.
- Conduct cost/benefit analysis of various recruitment strategies
- Safely operate a motor vehicle
- Travel as required
Preferred Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
- Property & Casualty and Life and Health Sales licenses in assigned state (s)
Experience:
- Recruitment of Entrepreneurial Agents
- Agency management
Work Environment
Work in a temperature-controlled office environment.
This is a hybrid work arrangement (time spent in office and remote) primarily working from a home office. Depending on the employee's role and leadership's assessment, some employees will come in to an ACG facility on an "as needed" basis for key meetings and collaborative activities. Most employees will be required to come into the office, at a minimum, for important departmental meetings or teambuilding events.
