Position Description

Primary Duties and Responsibilities (details of the basic job functions):

Serve as a team member to provide assistance on small to medium-sized business projects/department assignments. Provide support to teams/department in the use of various statistical/project management tools and processes. Perform special studies and provides analytical knowledge to aid project team staff/department in the development of innovative and effective recommendations. Assist management/team in activities relating to the development of communication, training plans, testing of programs and implementation of projects/programs. Secure and study market trends to identify competitive advantages that may apply to project/assignment.

Research and prepare detailed reports, summaries, and analyses. Complete specific tasks as assigned to support activities including research analysis and preparation of proposals and recommendations. Act as liaison between assigned department/project and internal/external clients. Participate in the preparation of reports to all levels of management and outside organizations (e.g., Requests for Information, Requests of Proposals, milestone deliverable, budget/forecast reports, etc.).

May develop and conduct training programs/sessions on implemented systems for business units. May maintain, control, analyze, reconcile and modify financial and statistical data, reports and programs for budget and forecast activities. May balance and audit account transactions for department using company and area specifications to ensure financial integrity.

Required Qualifications (these are the minimum requirements to qualify)

Education (include minimum education and any licensing/certifications):

  • High school diploma or equivalent

Experience:

  • researching, identifying and resolving moderately complex business problems
  • PC software applications (e.g. MS Word and MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Access) to maximize job efficiency
  • Compiling, analyzing and interpreting data for reports

Knowledge and Skills:

  • analysis, compilation and interpretation of data
  • preparation and presentation of materials
  • planning and organizing of information
  • achieving stated objectives within designated time frame
  • provide analytical skill/content knowledge to contribute to team, effort
  • take initiative to explore alternative approaches to project tasks, existing processes, and other project objectives
  • perform a variety of concurrent activities
  • work with others in a team environment
  • interact with representatives of various business units
  • excellent oral and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field
  • related professional and/or technical certification
  • preparing written proposals/reports
  • developing application support (Access) and tools that support department business requirements

Additional Preferred Items for The Auto Club Trust:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field
  • understanding of financial statements or similar business familiarity
  • project coordination experience

FLEX WORK IN WORK ENVIRONMENT

This position is currently able to work remotely from a home office location for day-to-day operations unless occasional travel for meetings, collaborative activities, or team building activities is specified by leadership. This is subject to change based on amendments and/or modifications to the ACG Flex Work policy.
