JOB TITLE: PART-TIME BREWERY AMBASSADOR
Job Summary : The Brewery Ambassador is a regular, part-time non-exempt hourly position that is responsible for delivering exemplary customer service to guests of the Terrapin Beer Company tour. The incumbent will report directly to the Brewery Events Assistant Manager(s).
As a condition of employment, this position requires mandatory availability to work scheduled shifts on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Attentively, and proactively, deliver exemplary customer service to all Tasting Room patrons.
- Adhere to all Company safety rules and regulations at all times. Continually monitor all customer behaviors to ensure that safety rules and regulations are adhered to by tour guests.
- Complete all daily operational tasks as assigned by departmental management. Perform additional operational tasks as assigned by management staff.
- Continually display a professional and engaging demeanor when greeting customers and explaining production selection within the Tasting Room.
- Will be required to work select mandatory events throughout the season which will include the following: Hop Harvest, Terrapin Anniversary and other events as they become mandatory.
- As directed, assist the with the maintenance and operations of the Gift Shop, Tasting Room, exterior Beer Garden and in the setup & execution of private events.
- Operate point of sale system and handle cash transactions in line with Company policies.
- Pre-tour & private event setup and cleanup of areas which will include, but are not limited to: sweeping, mopping, wiping surfaces, moving empty kegs, cleaning windows, grounds maintenance and trash disposal.
- Checking IDs and issuing wrist bands.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge & Skills Requirements :
High School diploma or General Equivalency Degree and a minimum of 21 years of age. Previous customer service, bartending or similar work experiences is highly recommended. Knowledge of craft beer varieties and ingredients is strongly preferred.
Part-time Brewery Ambassador hours will not exceed a maximum of 29 hours per week. Weekly hours are not guaranteed and scheduling is based upon operational needs relative to tour seasons, scheduled events and individual job performance.
Brewery Ambassadors who will be performing bartending duties must be registered to pour alcohol beverages in the state of Georgia. Bartending license must be obtained and current prior to offer of employment as a Brewery Ambassador.
Ability to frequently reach, twist, stand and walk for 6-8 hour shifts. Must be able to lift up to 30lbs and maneuver kegs weighing up to 180 lbs.
