Job Overview

As our Shift Manager will assess, guide, and monitor the production in manufacturing site of TE Connectivity in Szczecin, BU Energy, for variety of products and customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Driving for the results by monitoring and guiding production operations team
  • Ensure operational capabilities (skills and production capacity) are aligned with the long-term strategy to meet future product demand.
  • Ad-hoc intervention to support factory and vendors in response to abnormal demands, capacity bottlenecks, stock-outs, supply shortages, and logistics challenges.
  • Leadership to people and continuous improvement initiatives to identify and remove quality and productivity barriers for production.
  • Lead activities with all key stakeholders, to develop a long-term strategy that will simplify operations area under your management.
  • Actively interacts with all stakeholders: Planning, Quality, Engineering, PMs, Sales & Customer Demand to maintain an active support team.
  • Report out to management periodically as defined in the Plan

What your background should look like:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering/supply chain or equivalent experience
  • 4 years of overall experience within Manufacturing management
  • Polish and English language skills.
  • Skilled in Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Lean and Logistics
  • Leadership - requires the ability to lead, coach, negotiate, take charge, and collaboratively manage others, in a fast-moving and challenging environment.
  • Strong Project Management & Communication Skills
  • Experience in delivering presentations to Management
  • Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful, with the ability to communicate clearly.
