Job Overview

The Project Coordinator Supply Chain NPI will be responsible to design, change and improve the value streams cross plants, suppliers and regions as part of the Supply Chain Design team.
Understand the logic of all aspects of supply chain, from product development to the shipment of finished items and to apply this especially in NPI projects along the product lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

  • Align Supply Chain NPI strategy and KPIs together with Manager Supply Chain NPI to drive supply chain for new products as well as existing products.
  • Manage and understand the logic of all aspects of supply chain, from product development to the shipment of finished goods.
  • Design, measure and improve value streams across suppliers, TE plants and customers in collaboration with Supply Chain Project Lead, Product Engineer, Sales, Procurement, Finance, Demand/Supply and Planning.

Master data set up -> Master Data Analyst/Finance
IBP forecast -> Demand Analyst
Capacity check (existing components) -> Supply Analyst
On time material availability (C/D samples and serial production)
Handover to serial planner

  • Deliver input to Manager Supply Chain NPI for sourcing decisions-based on Supply Chain Readiness.
  • Identify issues, best practices, and benchmarks to resolve Supply Chain weaknesses.
  • Communicate and coordinate action plan to ensure smooth implementation of changes.
  • Lessons Learned from previous projects: What can we improve in the next projects from a supply chain perspective?
  • Follow the four TE core values: Integrity, Accountability, Teamwork and Innovation.
  • Act accordingly to TE behaviors (unleash and develop my talent and mind what matters).
  • Ensure responsibility for his / her own work.
  • Start to support End Of Life projects.

Requirements:

  • Min. 2 years of Supply Chain & Manufacturing experience - preferably in Automotive.
  • Ideally 1 year cross plant value stream experience.
  • Experience with supply chain and demand planning software applications.
  • Good knowledge about common Automotive Production steps and dependencies like plating, stamping, moulding and assembly.
  • Good oral and written communication skills, able to communicate across the organization.
  • Problem solving, strategic and tactical thinking, and analytical skills.
  • Organizational and project management skills.
  • General knowledge of operations/manufacturing systems, including quality methods and MRP concepts.
  • Good in English, both written and spoken.
