Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Strategic Sourcing Teams develop and implement multi-year strategies for assigned commodities, suppliers and parts/services to achieve established goals in supplier quality, delivery, price and service. They align strategy and execution with cross-functional partners such as engineering, manufacturing, product management and functional owners. They execute the competitive bid, negotiation, contracting processes and/or technical continuous improvement for assigned commodities or services; collaborate across Business Units and cross-regions for optimal TE leverage. Our teams demonstrate a high level of expertise in procurement competencies (business/supply chain acumen, negotiation, sourcing strategy development and execution, global savvy, and project and product lifecycle management) and ensure results are delivered compliant with TE policies and procedures.

What your background should look like:

Job Summary
1. Commodity sourcing strategy for equipment and automation assembly
2. Responsible for the daily procurement operation in Asia Pacific region for multiple BUs and manufacturing plants.
3. Quick response in processing daily RFP/RFQs, sourcing activities, suppler management in project delivery risks or quality related issues.
4. Work with engineering teams & manufacturing teams to quote and source equipment commodity and automation assembly.
5. Develop new sources of supply when required and meet cost & technology objectives.
6. Drive cost savings initiatives in AP region.
7. Manage all other procurement activities in AP region related to product migrations, should be cost model, supplier management, contracting & quoting.
8. Strategic vision and market benchmarking.

Job Qualifications
1. Integrity, Positive, Responsibility
2. Devote to develop career in Commodity Manager\Strategic Sourcing.
3. +5 years in strategic procurement role, business analyst expertise is a plus
4. Degree background in Mechanical Engineering, or IT Data Science Analytics is plus
5. Good English skills with fluent conversation communication ability.
6. Good commercial negotiation skills.
7. Must data analysis skills and working knowledge of Microsoft 365 APPs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Power BI and Visual C++ is a plus)
8. Strong time management skills and the ability to work well to deadlines.
9. Strong interpersonal skills & the ability to influence team members.
10. Willingness to travel (25% travel) throughout the AP region
