Day-to-Day Job Overview
  1. Develop all DO-178 plans and documentation based on customer requirements
  2. Software Quality Assurance: ensure adherence to Software Development Plan
  3. Ability to shepherd a SW project through DO-178 process from start to completion
  4. Requirements management tool experience (DOORS, CodeBeamer)
  5. Ability to analyze and modify code and develop test cases
  6. Management of external software V&V vendors
  7. Experience with SDLC tools including, in particular gitlab

Responsibilities

  • Define Software Requirements Specifications
  • Define high-level and low-level software requirements
  • Define software test procedures
  • Generate high-quality software planning, testing, and QA customer deliverables
  • Independent work, and ability to take on tasks adjacent to own scope

Team Composition/Specific Group Info
You will be joining a small team of highly motivated individuals working on the next generation of aerospace power distribution electronics. Each team member wears several hats, providing ample opportunities to learn and expand your talent. We are rapidly growing our software development and safety certification capabilities to augment our existing state-of-the-art hardware products.

This position will be part of the AEROSPACE, DEFENSE & MARINE (AD&M) BUSINESS UNIT

Work Location
The location for this position is HYBRID with on-site work location in Carpinteria, CA.

What your background should look like:

  • Have received a BA/BS Degree in, Computer Science or Data Analytics from an accredited college or university or have equivalent work history.
  • 8-10 years of experience
  • Are a U.S. Citizen
  • Must be able to commute to Carpinteria, CA on an as-needed basis.

COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $155,600 - $233,400 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
