Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Engineering Project Management Teams manage cross functional engineering projects. They work with Product Management, Sales, Quality, Manufacturing, Finance, and other functions across TE to assure projects meet financial, schedule and customer expectations. They are responsible for defining and creating project schedules, portfolio management, communication and execution of programs, identifying resource constraints and working with management for resolution, while adhering to LeanPD processes.

Make new project plan per customer requirement, monitor and control project plan implementation; drive project management process improvement; lead cross function team to deliver new projects with the objective of ensuring new projects flawless launch to mass production as planned and within budget within the direction of project management rules and corporate policies.

New project management
- Prepare the schedule per customer requirement which considered potential project risk;
- Monitor all the milestone of the schedule to ensure the overall project deliverable meet the plan
requirement;
- Take corrective actions when project delays;
- Support coordinate first production order run to ensure first order run smoothly;
- Organize project review meeting with team;
- Facilitate the project to move forward when project is pended by bottleneck; in
order to make sure new project release to mass production on time as planed;
- Lead product cost down after mass production to keep competitiveness of product;

What your background should look like:

Bachelor Degree or higher

Major in Engineering related, mechanical engineering preferred

Total Working experience: 10 years

Project management experience: 5 years

Automotive company working experience: 5 years

Proven skill in leading, developing and managing cross functional team.

Familiar with Automotive New product development process, APQP.

Solid knowledge of Project management professional, balance of timing, cost and quality, manage the resource, risks and change management.

Good at project management and issue escalation procedure.
