Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Product Engineering Teams optimize existing products from information or input provided by marketing, customers, Operation Teams, Development Engineers or other employees. They maintain existing products, processes, and specifications including modifications for new applications consistent with manufacturing techniques and economies. They also initiate and implement programs to continuously improve quality, and cost, while meeting customer requirements and may support and implement product extensions to existing platform products to meet specific customer requirements. They are the key experts in the products they are responsible for at TE.

What your background should look like:

Responsibilities
1. Participates in the engineering core team for projects from initial concept to production release in a timely, innovative manner.
2. Proficient skills in the drawing and simulation tools ( CAD, Creo, ANSYS,...)to create and optimize design, especially good at structural design and innovation..
3. Providing engineering support of cable accessories including Lite and sustaining projects.
4. Technical understanding of power system products and related standards as wish.
5. Interprets related standards, analyzes data, creates test reports, and provides presentations.
6. Innovative, computer literate, low to moderate travel, power industry experience or equivalent essential.
7. Possess excellent problem-solving skills, be able to work independently, and drive projects to completion. failure analysis and improvement timely.
8. Coordinate with other functional and oversea regional teams (including EMEA, US and Asia...)for the technical development in order to achieve targeted cross functional project goals and schedule.
9. Daily system management and file management

Qualifications
1. Min. bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering related major. Graduated degree is preferred.
2. Good English communication skills, including listening, speaking and writing.
3. Experience in power product development at least 5 years, especially cable accessory product development.
4. Knowledge and experience of materials and production processes used in power products.
5. Innovative, self-motivated, strong communication skills, problem solving ability, strong Mechanical simulation, optimization and analysis skills.
6. Builds strong internal/external working relationship.
