Job Overview

The Senior HR Business Partner, Global Functions is an HRBP to Engineering, Product Management, Finance and Marketing. S/He is also a partner to the Senior Director of HR, to co-drive the HR Business Partner function to the next level - to become the real business partners, to co-drive the business goals with business departments, and to be recognized.

The ideal work location is remote in Fuquay -Varina, NC.

Main responsibilities:

  • Partner with respective leadership members, define HR objectives and co-drive the HR activities to realize business strategy and achieve business goals
  • Co-develop the HR agenda with each of the respective department heads, draw a clear and obtainable roadmap to drive this HR agenda, therefore contribute to the overall achievement of the business objectives and priorities, and drive/orchestrate/assist in execution
  • Provide business stakeholders with insightful HR advisory in business language that means through both qualitative and quantitative data, based on a solid and up-to-date understanding of employee satisfaction/engagement situation, the talent market that we engage in, the TE & Energy BU HR strategy/direction/policies, etc.
  • Drive organizational transformation, provide leadership coaching on organization plan, change management, and other talent topics; facilitate workshops
  • Define a sustainable succession plan with the leadership, build the talent pipeline by utilizing existing and/or creating new talent acquisition and talent development methods, and cultivate an environment/a culture together to foster talent development and employee engagement, therefore enabling talent retention
  • Evaluate the current organizational structure and job plan with the business strategy and goals in mind, find out improvement opportunities, layout a change roadmap, and communication plan, and drive/orchestrate/aid the execution
  • Be an HR influencer in the business, build HR reputation, bring the stakeholders' understanding of HR roles and business roles in Human Resource Management to clarity, and ensure that they recognize the significance of their work in Human Resource Management
  • Liaise with stakeholders across all HR functions, maximize the utilization of cross-functional capabilities and expertise, consider holistic HR process, aid cross-functional working together to achieve overall HR vision
  • Run the annual performance cycle, drive and lead the process with each respective functional leadership team

What your background should look like:

  • Bachelors Degree Required/Master's Preferred
  • 10 years+ professional career in Business oriented HR roles, consulting experience is an advantage
  • Have full spectrum of understanding of the different functions and areas within a business, able to articulate in talent strategy and talent agenda with business languages
  • Show capability of leading through influence; able to build partnership and trust with all business stakeholders
  • Experienced in being part of the thought leadership, with success track records in leading culture change, transformational projects, spot gaming changing areas to improve employee engagement
  • Excellent in critical thinking, and able to conceive/simplify complex topics
  • Team player, familiar with working in a matrix organization, connect well with all different HR functions and have OneHR mindset
  • Fluent English, other language skills

COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $143,400 - $215,200 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
