Software- & Measuring Technology Engineer (m/w/d)

Job Overview

  • You will design, implement and optimize measurement technology workstations and test benches for the characterization of optical sensors and sensor modules
  • You will design and program the software for controlling measurement sequences and direct data management in LabView
  • You will be responsible for the maintenance and optimization of existing hardware and software
  • You will organize, process and document metrological tasks (e.g. qualification, determination of parameters for product description, etc.) as part of development tasks and error analyses
  • You support the development of mechanical and electromechanical components for the interfaces between sensors and measuring devices
  • You will support production in analyzing processes and products and in creating specifications, drawings and system documentation
  • You are the contact person for sales and product management in technical questions about optical sensor products

What your background should look like:

  • You have successfully completed a degree in computer engineering, microsystems technology, physics or electrical engineering
  • You have experience in the configuration, parameterization and programming of measuring stations
  • You have knowledge in the use of one or more programming languages, preferably LabView
  • You have experience in the production, characterization and processing of semiconductor materials as well as knowledge in the field of mechanical design
  • You are characterized by a flexible, communicative and team-oriented personality
  • You work independently, proactively and in a results-oriented manner
  • You have a very good command of written and spoken German and English
