Job Overview
TE Connectivity's Project Management Teams are responsible for managing the operational aspects of projects from inception through implementation. They coordinate cross-functional teams and serve as liaison between project management and planning, project teams and line management. Our Teams review status of projects and budgets, manage schedules and prepare status reports. They assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. They also develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.

Tasks and Responsibilities
• Plans, controls, and executes projects they are assigned.
• Proactively works with all functions to effectively complete projects on-time, on-cost, and on-quality.
• Manages risks, issues, and compliance across projects under their responsibility.
• Resolves conflicts and effectively escalates topics appropriately on projects/programs they manage.
• Effectively communicates tasks, roles, expectations, and accountabilities to all team members on a regular basis.
• Understands and utilizes best practices in project management.
• Documents project lessons learned to foster continuous improvement.
• Provides feedback and guidance to project teams.
• Supports different stages of the project management lifecycle, utilizing the tools and techniques to produce reports on project/program performance, budgets, and schedules.
• Maintains the change management log.
What your background should look like:
• Master's/Engineering degree in an appropriate field or local equivalent.
• Formal project management education and/or PMP certification (or pursuing to get one)
• 5+ years experience in Project Management.
• Automotive Industry experience is preferred.
• Experience in project and resource management is preferred.
• Experience with LEANPD, Waterfall, Agile methodologies.
• Fluent German and English language skills.
