We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Engineer to support and grow our engagement with key accounts in the semiconductor and AI ecosystem. These customers-major innovators in the data center, compute, and high-speed networking domains-require a high level of technical acumen, consultative selling, and robust project management skills.

In this role, you will be the primary technical and commercial interface with our customers, collaborating closely with internal engineering, product management, and business development teams to identify new opportunities, nurture strategic relationships, and drive revenue growth. You will translate complex technical requirements into effective solutions, leveraging your background in electrical engineering and understanding of data center architectures. The ideal candidate brings 4-7 years of sales or customer-facing engineering experience and a proven ability to manage complex, multi-faceted projects.

What your background should look like:

Customer Engagement & Relationship Management:

  • Serve as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for assigned semiconductor and AI ecosystem customers.
  • Understand each customer's business drivers, technical roadmaps, and product requirements to propose tailored connectivity and sensor solutions.

Technical Consultation & Support:

  • Conduct technical product presentations, demonstrations, and design reviews, articulating the value proposition and technical merits of TE Connectivity's offerings.
  • Provide front-line technical support, addressing complex product inquiries and working cross-functionally to resolve issues quickly and effectively.

Project & Opportunity Management:

  • Lead the end-to-end sales process, including opportunity identification, qualification, technical scoping, proposal generation, and contract negotiation.
  • Drive project schedules and coordinate with internal teams (Engineering, Product Management, Supply Chain) to ensure timely delivery and seamless integration of products into customer platforms.

Market & Technology Insight:

  • Stay up-to-date with advancements in data center architectures, high-speed interconnects, and semiconductor packaging solutions.
  • Provide regular feedback to internal stakeholders on market trends, emerging technologies, and potential areas for product innovation.

Revenue & Pipeline Growth:

  • Develop and execute account growth strategies to achieve and exceed annual revenue and margin targets.
  • Identify and prioritize opportunities to expand product portfolio penetration within existing customers and acquire new key accounts.

Skills, Experience and Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field. A Master's degree is a plus.
  • 3-5 years of direct sales or sales engineering experience, ideally within the semiconductor, networking, or data center ecosystem.
  • Proven track record of managing technical sales processes and complex, multi-phase projects.
  • Strong technical background in data center architectures, high-speed connectors, cables, optical interconnects, and/or relevant semiconductor components.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of distilling complex technical concepts into clear value propositions for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional, global teams, and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple simultaneous engagements.
