Job Overview

TE Connectivity's HR Solutions Partners provide consultative geographically-based HR professional services, guidance and coaching to managers and employees, ensuring alignment with corporate policies, goals, and objectives. They coach managers or employees to ensure that recurring HR processes, such as talent/performance management or salary review processes, are completed appropriately and on time. The HR Solutions Partner manages a variety of Human Resources activities including employment and employee relations, recruiting, termination and data analysis/metrics. They conduct employee orientations and implement organizational development, workforce or succession planning, training, or performance management strategies as developed by the parent organization.

What your background should look like:

This role requires a strong level of skill and knowledge in all HR functional areas including Employee Relations, Learning & Development, HR Project Management, Performance Management, Talent Management, Engagement, Inclusion & Diversity, Occupational Health, Staffing & Recruiting, Compensation & Benefits, and HR Operations. In this position, you will act as the business partner and trusted advisor to the leadership team members and their direct reports as well as a partner with the other Center of Expertise (COE) HR teams to deliver the overall HR Experience.

Missions:

  • Proven experience in French Employment Law and Works Council collaboration.
  • Lead and maintain social dialogue with the Unions and Works Council.
  • Lead organization design, workforce planning, organization development and organizational effectiveness within the business.
  • Take on strong influencing role, convey information to different audiences, able to deal with complex interrelationship.
  • Partner with the business managers to provide advice, creative problem solving and counsel on HR related business matters.
  • Manage facilitation of end to end processes for professional level recruiting and talent management.
  • Drive compensation planning process to ensure "Pay for Performance" guidelines are met.
  • Lead performance management process for business in efficient manner (objective setting, development planning, year-end performance reviews, calibration).
  • Manage employee relations issues to ensure legal compliance and maintain a respectful working environment for the client group.
  • Understand the Business Unit strategies and align HR priorities to them while balancing other functional HR priorities.
  • Strategically execute all HR initiatives, ensure consistent implementation and feedback to project owners.
  • Participate in regional project teams to ensure the French HR perspective is not overlooked.
  • Lead and develop the HR team in Gevrey-Chambertin (2 direct reports).
  • Ensure regular review of all policies, processes and employee compensation & benefits to keep them aligned with internal and external trends and business needs.
  • Ensure the execution of the communications strategy for the site.
  • Ensure TE is fully compliant with local regulatory requirement and labour laws.
  • Foster a climate of positive and productive employee relations.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement and implement tools and metrics to support execution and monitoring.

Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree or above or equivalent experience, HR related major preferred.
  • Extensive professional working experience in HR environment required (5y+), preferably within a manufacturing organisation.
  • Experienced HR Generalist/HR BP related experience required; breadth of HR knowledge and skills in variety of fields in international context
  • Experience working in and influencing in a cross-functional global matrix environment.
  • Experience managing ambiguity, risk, and changing direction of projects and strategies.
  • Substantial knowledge of applicable local employment laws and practices.
  • Experience in Employee Focused Communications would be a distinct advantage.
  • Detects internal and environmental changes and can influence relevant stakeholders to respond to those changes effectively.
  • Continuous improvement mindset to support service to the business and reach efficiency in own team.
  • Experience thinking strategically and acting operationally.
  • Highly collaborative individual.
  • Motivating others.
  • Fluent in English.
