Job Overview

TE's SG Corporate Technology Center is looking for intern(s) to assist with technology landscaping in the field of electronics and semiconductor devices. Working with a senior researcher, the goal is to generate knowledge for R&D Project decisions. The intern will conduct literature surveys that include academic publications, patent databases, website, and commercial specs sheets. Additionally, the intern will also explore innovative research methodologies using AI tools to enhance the efficiency and depth of literature surveys. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain wide knowledge of the electronics and semiconductor industry's value chain and contribute to cutting-edge research.

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform literature survey / patent search, document the finding, and present the summary
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to support ongoing projects
  • Explore and implement AI-powered tools and techniques to enhance literature survey processes.
  • Optional: scope out potential FYP project. Details and final decision subject to due process and TE-university approvals.

Job Requirements

  • 3rd or 4th year in degree of Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
  • Basic knowledge in electrical circuits, semiconductor material, and electronic device.
  • Good analytical skills
  • Be able to communicate the technical knowledge.
  • A learner that is comfortable to delve in unfamiliar engineering topics.
  • Willing to explore AI-assisted tools and procedures.
