Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Quality Control and Reliability Teams ensure product and / or product components comply with specifications and quality standards. They test and inspect products against performance and integrity criteria to ensure product quality and reliability, and to determine the suitability of product release.

Responsibilities

Deliver on all KPIs that help the business achieve its goal
- Lead and drive suppliers' quality improvement continuously based on TE internal or customer requirements.
- Customer complaint handling, work with TE CQE or directly with customers for complaint and feedback to supplier, verify the root cause and follow up actions

- Investigate root cause of Quality issues and following through with timely and effective corrective actions to prevent re-occurrence for customer and internal issues.
- Regular quality system audit or process audit for suppliers.
- Supplier's performance metrics development and report to top management
- Supplier performance assessment and training.
- CoPQ & Yield improvement; Management review and action implement.
- Define cosmetic standard and QIP dimension and drive suppliers to follow up
- Coordinate annual audit /onsite process audit when Quality issue or customer complaint arises
- NPI & Migration projects (BKM/GR&R/FAAR/Safe Launch/Sample verification) follows and improvements/PPAP preparation
- Product process control(identify risk and work out mitigation plan)
- 5M1E change control verification, follow up approval process on customer side and implement process on supplier side
- Monitor supplier quality performance, summarize score card for supplier performance, request improvement for risk supplier.

Required Skills

• B.S. degree (or above) in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• 8-12 years' working experience in supplier quality or in related quality function areas, working experience in connector, Cable assembly, Cage assembly, Antenna manufacturing is a plus.
Have advanced knowledge of the supplier management, certified ISO9001/IATF16949 internal auditor is preferred.
• Clear understanding of connector, cable assembly, antenna, busbar quality and requirements, including measurement techniques, would be a distinct advantage.
• Strong root cause analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good knowledge in quality tools such as BKM, Cpk, SPC,8D, FMEA, Gage R&R, Poka Yoke.
• Demonstrated negotiation skills, good communication in bridging between TE and suppliers as quality side
• Ability for periodic travel required. (25%~50%)
• Strong communication skills, good at English, including writing, reading, speaking
• Connector/cable assembly/antenna/busbar manufacturing experience is a plus
