Job Overview
TE Connectivity's Quality Control and Reliability Teams ensure product and / or product components comply with specifications and quality standards. They test and inspect products against performance and integrity criteria to ensure product quality and reliability, and to determine the suitability of product release.

Customer Quality
• Act as the customer quality interface in the plant by driving customer satisfaction initiatives.
• Spearhead the communication, implementation, and standardization of applicable customer requirements to the manufacturing shopfloor and its stake holders.

Process Quality
• Ensures compliance, testing and monitoring of conformance to established quality assurance processes and standards for manufacturing and production.
• Drive product and process continuous improvement through data analysis, problem solving and flawless execustion of the TEOA tools and methods, addressing customer complaints and process non-conformities.
• Provides an effective disposition/recommendation to non-conforming parts, establish a robust containment, corrective and preventive actions in collaboration with other support groups.
• Support NPI product and process development/improvement to assure the compliance to the NPI target requirement.
• Perform MSA and correlation study to relevant inspection and measuring tools/equipment.
• Act as the Quality conscience of the customer (VOC) in the shop floor.
Policies and Procedures
• Generates Quality Inspection Plan, Control Plan, and other quality control document as deemed necessary.
• Participate in PFMEA conceptualization, review, and ensures implementation.
• Review and approve Setup and FAAR report, and release NCR report to establish proper control of non-conforming parts.
NPI/Product transfers
• Supports the review of DFM with cross functional team.
• Support AQE/PQE on new parts reliability testing and FAA report approval.
• Develop quality inspection documents (QFC, QIP, QCQ) and ensures the training of inspectors and operators.
• Participate PFMEA development and update as per defined landing zones in the NPI and product migration process.
Must have
Education, Technical Qualification & Experience
• Degree in Engineering or technical field with equivalent engineering experience
• At least with 6-7 years (minimum) working experience in Quality department, with strong knowledge in manufacturing process and production environment (connector, semiconductor, electronics assemblies).
• Knowledge and application of core quality tools such as 8D, 7 QC tools, MSA, SPC, FACA etc.
• With good understanding of QMS standards (ISO 9001:2015, etc.).
• Strong background in problem solving, continuous improvement, and GD&T (nice to have).
