Job Overview

The Digital Data Networks business unit of TE Connectivity has an opportunity for a Global Product Manager for the High Speed I/O product team, based in the US.

The Global Product Manager will have responsibility for helping our team identify and understand trends in in the data center ecosystems and support those trends with the appropriate promotions, collateral and various internal functions to ensure a seamless transition from NPI to order delivery. In addition, this the Global Product Manager will support cost savings initiatives, marketing collateral, business analysis, as well as overall portfolio enhancement activities.

This role requires strong strategic thinking, ability to work across regions and a strong proactive work ethic. This role must closely collaborate cross-functionally with colleagues in Sales, Engineering, Operations and Marketing to gain alignment and drive the successful execution of the product roadmaps and other initiatives.

What you will be doing:

  • Helping define market trends, demand drivers, customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Conducting market segmentation exercises to develop segment-specific strategies.
  • Supporting business development globally.
  • Drive sales/FAE/SA team to fuel pipeline.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and benchmarking.
  • Co-Develop product roadmaps that align with business strategy.
  • Work with R&D and Operations in the development of new products to meet current and future customer requirements.
  • Develop market-based cost targets to align with BU profitability targets, and align product teams to achieve those targets.
  • Manage the product lifecycle, focusing on capacity expansion ramps, and defining the right cost early in design cycles.
  • Assist in establishing pricing policy.
  • Attend customer meetings in support of winning new business.

What your background should look like:

  • Creative and innovative thinker able to provide input on the development of product strategies and relevant business plans with the ability to execute.
  • Strong interpersonal, planning, organization, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and highly complex environment.
  • 0-5 years of product management and/or relevant engineering experience.
  • Relevant product or industry experience desired.
  • 4-year degree required (business/finance/marketing (maybe)Engineering if they wanted to do business track). :
  • High business acumen.
  • Ability to learn quickly, especially on technical topics.
  • Skilled communicator.
  • High skills with building presentations.
  • Capability to perform data / business analysis.

COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $61,400-92,000 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
