Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Supply Chain Managers are responsible for the timely, cost-effective procurement, inventory control, planning and quality control of production materials. They ensure the availability of materials in the supply chain, as scheduled, and the maintenance of inventory at the established levels. They coordinate and integrate the flow of materials and information among suppliers, manufacturers, distributors and customers, identifying opportunities for improving efficiency, effectiveness and capabilities of the supply chain. Resources are focused on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through production processes, and the establishment of key performance metrics and benchmarks to monitor actual performance against goals.

Responsibilities

The purpose of this position is to create to drive end to end network optimization and Analytics for Supply Chain performance measures such as Inventory, Lead times, Delivery Performance, and total cost of Supply Chain. The Network Model will enable to drive footprint improvements in terms of Supply Chain Savings and Cost Optimization. The individual will be responsible for Identifying and enabling AI as productive engine for the Global supply chain and accountable for global analytics initiatives including applications like Command Center, S&OP forecasting.. This person will work closely with IT team like ADITRAC and TEIS to ensure global solutions are implemented across regions.

Tasks Summary & Responsibilities

  • Performance Management: Lead initiatives for Freight Reduction, Inventory Optimization, Network Optimization, and other performance management areas. Identify gaps, propose actionable solutions, and ensure their implementation to drive substantial improvements.
  • Accountability for Analytics Solutions: Responsible for driving all analytics solutions across regions. Work with stakeholders to identify AI opportunities across region and work with technical team to get it delivered on time using industry best practices and cutting-edge AI technologies like GenAI, IoT etc.
  • Process Ownership: Serve as the Process Owner for key Automotive ISC applications, including Command Center and SupplyWise. Drive the adoption, efficiency, and productivity of these applications to maximize their impact.
  • Supply Chain Optimization: Spearhead network design and optimization efforts for the Supply Chain team. Focus on Freight Reduction, Production Optimization, Lead Time Reduction, CAPEX Optimization, and Localization to enhance overall efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Unified Analytics Truth: Establish and maintain a single source of truth for analytics. Ensure alignment on global KPIs in collaboration with Operations, Procurement, and Finance. Drive consistency and reliability in analytics reporting and insights.
  • Self-Serve Analytics Optimization: Optimize self-serve analytics capabilities. Develop and maintain an expert network in each region to swiftly address ad hoc analytics requests, meeting the dynamic needs of the business.
  • Technology and Innovation Leadership: Stay abreast of emerging technology trends and innovations in the supply chain space. Assess their relevance to our operations and integrate cutting-edge solutions to maintain a competitive edge.

Required Skills

Education : BE/ Masters

  • 10 or more years of Supply Chain Analytics experience, preferably Automotive and cross BU Experience
  • 5 or more years of experience in Analytics and Optimization
  • 5-10 or more years of leadership experience of cross-functional teams.
  • Strong Experience with AI/BI and Optimization Tools
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, able to communicate across all levels of the organization.
  • Strong problem solving, strategic and tactical thinking, and analytical skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team building skills.
  • Strong Experience with Matrix Organizations
  • Cross cultural experience with leading of global Teams
  • Very good knowledge of Supply Chain
  • Strong Knowledge of Analytics Process and technologies.
