Job Overview

Join us in our mission to establish a world-class Global Trade Services organization. As the Global Trade Services GTS Reporting & Metrics Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing TE's Global Trade Services program for overall compliance and improvement. Your primary responsibility will be to support the GTS Program Management Office as a Subject Matter Expert in monitoring, controlling, and assessing the efficacy of the TE trade program.

  • Develop and track a trade Metrics/KPI program in collaboration with the trade team, enterprise essential functions, and TEOA GTS Lean Law site coordinator. This collaborative effort will ensure the attainment of business and group goals.
  • Identify and define Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Key Compliance Controls (KCCs) in GTS policy, Procedures, and Country or Regulatory Instructions.
  • Test Key Performance Indicators (KPI)/Key Compliance Controls (KCC) according to the testing schedule and report results.
  • Draft reports, metrics, KPIs, executive presentations, and department communications.
  • As the Product Owner for Global Trade Insights (GTI), the department's central trade data tool, I work closely with TE's information technology team.
  • Systematically and consistently fulfill broad data requests, providing comprehensive analysis reports from diverse sources/systems to address inquiries.
  • Your role will be crucial in providing business impact analysis for GTS stakeholders on proposed trade rules and process updates. By outlining the consequences of disruptions to the business and its processes/systems, you will enable the company to develop strategies to ensure compliance and business continuity.
  • Act as the Product Owner for my GTS, the department's ServiceNow implementation for inquiries to the GTS team; support the PMO's other Product Owners as needed

What your background should look like:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration,or related discipline
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience, including a combination of global trade and program management
  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization tools
  • Comfortable manipulating large data sets and generating reports
  • Knowledge of ITAR, EAR, and non-U.S. trade regulations (e.g., BAFA, UK BIS, etc.)
  • Experience working with geographically diverse teams
  • Experience with assessing compliance risks in the business and developing proactive strategies to mitigate risks.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to interact and team with Company personnel and external advisors
  • Experience in change management
  • Track record of identifying problems and then planning and executing to solve them.
  • Comfort and professionalism in interacting with executives
  • Demonstrated ability to utilize research and information to make data-driven decisions
  • Drive to find and solve problems - without waiting for direction

COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $78,720 - $ 118,080 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
