Job Overview

Conducts analysis, design, evaluation, modification, testing and implementation of enterprise wide systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Baan, PeopleSoft) across functional areas. Conducts analysis of systems specifications and uses the latest analysis/diagramming tools to represent business/technical processes. Develops conversion and system implementation plans. Prepares and obtains approval of system and programming documentation. Recommends changes in development, maintenance and system standards. Coordinates system upgrade activity. Trains user personnel in the conversion and implementation of the system.

Position Summary:
We are looking for a talented university graduate or early career professional to develop as an IT Analyst specializing in SAP ERP (enterprise resource planning) applications for production planning, manufacturing execution and advanced constrained planning processes. Transform business processes and help resolve manufacturing challenges by using leading software systems such as SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, SAP ePPDS and SAP IBP.

Position Duties/Responsibilities
• Determine Business Requirements
o Meet with users, management and colleagues to analyze and understand business requirements with sufficient detail to determine the appropriate solution.
o Record the requirements in a functional requirements document. Include input and output requirements, process maps, screen layouts and business benefits as appropriate.
o Coordinate the activity with other SAP analysts to ensure complete requirements are defined, covering end-to-end processes
• Configure the SAP system when needed
o Understand SAP PP module configuration and translate business requirements into SAP configuration.
o Understand constrained production plans limited by production capacity and understand how SAP APO PPDS and ePPDS solution those challenges
o Enter, test, and migrate the required SAP configuration to production.
o Estimate effort and schedule to configure and develop solution
• Test the SAP system and its bolt on systems when needed.
o Provide integrated test scenarios to confirm a working solution for the business requirements.
o Test, or help others to test the system, documenting results.
• Provide Training
o Create and modify training materials, presentations and white papers.
o Deliver training to a project's local implementation team and to others as required.

Position Requirements/ Skills
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering or in Information Systems.
• English Language, sufficient for clear verbal and written communication within a global company. Other languages, especially Chinese are a plus
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Ability to multi-task and adhere to the established project timeframe.
• Ability to contribute to the design and architecture of the proposed solution.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote meeting environment with a global team
• Travel could be required up to 10% with varying length and frequency.
• Exposure or experience working with SAP or an ERP system is a plus
• Exposure or experience in a supply chain planning or manufacturing planning department is a plus
