Position Summary:
We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our Information Security team as a Cyber Security Analyst. In this role, you will be responsible for managing cyber incident response and participating in cyber incident response activities. You will work with various business stakeholders and functions to plan and execute proactive activities for incident preparedness. You will also work with the Security Engineering team to support security technologies and capabilities.

Day-to-Day Job Overview
• Monitor and investigate security incidents, vulnerabilities, and threats in a hybrid environment.
• Make critical decisions during incidents, balancing the need for rapid response with thorough analysis and risk assessment.
• Develop and maintain incident response procedures and playbooks.
• Manage and maintain relationships with key external partners for cyber incident response.
• Support key security technologies- including providing end user assistance/troubleshooting, technology lifecycle management, automation and integration, and other requirements.
• Manage and Leverage Next-Gen Anti-Virus tools (NGAV) and Endpoint Detect & Response (EDR).

Responsibilities
• The Information Security Analyst will partner closely with the Information Security Engineering team in supporting key security technologies by providing assistance to end users,

• The Information Security Analyst will work with a variety of TEIS teams and individuals on Incident Response preparedness through organizing and facilitation of tabletop exercises.

What your background should look like:

• Have received a BA/BS Degree in, Information Technology (IT) or CyberSecurity from an accredited college or university or have equivalent work history.
• 0-2 years of experience

  • Experience with CrowdStrike, TrendMicro, or equivalent technology is preferred

COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $78,400 - 117,600 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
