Job Overview
TE Connectivity's Quality and Reliability Engineering Teams analyze the ability of product and production systems to comply with customer and contractual requirements through established reliability factors. They design, recommend revisions and install quality control systems, develop and document analytical methods for establishing reliability of products and their components and conduct analysis on relative reliability with regards to cost, structure, weight, maintainability, facility of production, and availability of materials and equipment. Out teams develop, implement and monitor company environmental safety programs and policies to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental, health and safety regulations and recommend corrective actions if necessary. They are responsible for policies and practices to comply with applicable government regulations and industry requirements related to product environmental compliance, the implementation and management of technical and testing standards and specifications, quality control and reliability programs governing materials, product and processes, resulting in the optimization of material and labor, as well as failure analysis, root cause, corrective action and customer communication.

What your background should look like:
Responsible for developing, deploying and sustaining global Quality Management System that is in accordance with established governance and industry standard accreditation bodies.
This includes ensuring process compliance to the multiple industry standards including but not limited to: ISO9001, IATF16949, ISO13845, AS/EN9100.
Regulate, control and improve the quality of all processes throughout the business to ensure compliance to regulatory statutes and standards.
Manage the external and internal audit program to ensure that all nonconformances raised during audits are effectively corrected and verified.
Embed a culture of continuous improvement throughout the enterprise.
Contribute to the creation and implementation of best practice deployment.
Lead organization through transformation from local/ site certification to global process certification.
Understand new business requirements and translate the requirements that will impact Quality Management Systems.
Implement global QMS document control and standardize process definitions across global sites.
Lead global projects that require significant change management.
Manage all external registration requirements to ensure they are met. Liaise with external registration bodies.
Implement all relevant procedures described in the Quality Management System.
Ensure that all in-house systems and procedures are in place to satisfy all customer, market and regulatory requirements and audits.
Train others in all aspects of the quality system
Lead internal process audit team
Manage and maintain the audit nonconformity database
Hold quarterly reviews of audit performance with key business stakeholders
Ensure processes are kept up to date with changes in certification standards
Identify areas of improvement within business processes
Conduct risk assessments of global processes and identify ways to mitigate risks
Manage, coach and develop high performing Quality Management System team
Manage both direct and matrix organization to ensure alignment and adherence to Quality Management System
Lead team through significant change, set vision and goals for executing a global framework
Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Work collaboratively, negotiate and engage with key stakeholders to facilitate delivery and compliance to Quality Management System
Communicate with personnel at all levels, internally and externally, to ensure compliance to Quality Management System
Qualifications:
BS Engineering or relevant technical degree
ASQ Certifications
VDA 6.3 Lead Auditor
Detailed knowledge of ISO9001, ISO13485, IATF16949, AS/EN9100
Global/ multisite certification
Experience in semiconductor or active electronics industry strongly preferred
Six Sigma/ Kaizen training preferred

COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $152,000 - $229,000 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
